TAGDev 2.0 scholarship is competitive and a call for application is opened for a specified period of time. The application process involves submission of both scholarship application form and the application for admission at the university of choice. The scholarship application form is submitted through the RUFORUM Information Management System (RIMS) which an applicant is required to register to be able to proceed with application. Application for admission at Egerton University is through hard copy delivery at TAGDev Centre or through the email provided in the call for application
All applications must have certified copies of certificates and transcripts for those applying for admission at Egerton University.Egerton university does not offer provisional admission
Referees are required to send the confidential report directly to TAGDev Centre either as a hard copy or an email attachment
You are required to submit both application form for the scholarship and the application form for university admission attaching copies of certified certificates and transcripts and other support documents.Submission of scholarship form is through RIMS while for admission it could either be a hard copy delivery or 1 pdf file attachment to the email provided
On the admission application form, tick self-sponsored as the mode of study
The applicants are not required to pay the application fee

All applicants whether successful or not will receive feedback on the verdict of their application once the process is finalized
The eligibility criteria requires that an undergraduate be less than 25 years and for Master’s applicants be less than 30 years at the time of application. However, for refugees and persons with disability, age limit of 29 years is considered for undergraduates and 34 years for master’s studies
The TAGDev program offers opportunities for undergraduate students through projects and events rather than job placements. We are open to collaborate with students in implementing the ASEC Project.
